The goal of PPIKnow.com is to distribute accurate information pertaining to acid-related G.I. disorders and proton pump inhibitioin. An independent group of physicians and pharmacists provides the information for these pages. Information that is submitted should conform to standards of scientific validity described below.
PPIknow accepts no funding from any Drug Company or any third parties with "Educational Grants" (which are usually [not always] just funds that come from Drug Companies through a third party).
Who Are We? Why Remain Anonymous?
1. The reviewers are constantly changing and an individual may have only contributed one review or comment.
2. There are repercussions from the pharmaceutical industry that drive potential reviewers away.
3. Most importantly, it shouldn't matter. The data speak for themselves. See below.

The great advantage of the scientific method is that it is unprejudiced : one does not have to believe a given researcher, one can redo the experiment and determine whether his/her results are true or false. The conclusions will hold irrespective of the state of mind, or the religious persuasion, or the state of consciousness of the investigator and/or the subject of the investigation.
