Background : I.V. PPIs are not highly rapid in their effects. Can high dose i.v. omeprazole help patients who develop heartburn after being fed hamburger, fries, coca cola, coffee and mint chocolates.

Primary finding : No, i.v. PPI was not statistically different from control.
